Understand the 3-step Tikkun (repair or mend) Middot (character traits) process, the Jewish practice that involves developing positive character traits. Use strategies to better support themselves and their teen(s) through teen development.

Cultivating Peace of Mind

Objectives: Participants will . . . Understand more about their teens’ emotional stability.   Consider their own needs for personal support.  Consider how their own worries affect their parenting. Learn to implement and model self-regulation skills to achieve greater calm and less worry for themselves and their teens.  

Mindful Speech

Anavah/Balanced Parenting

Objectives: Participants will . . . Understand the approach of “balanced parenting.” Identify their general parenting style. Recognize the benefits of the “lighthouse parenting” style.
